Running
I started running later in life by accident. Back in 2014, jogging was merely a recovery workout in my gym routine. Eventually I started enjoying running (and spending time outdoors) much more than lifting weights. By the fall of 2015, I was seasoned enough to have the courage to enroll to my first half-marathon. To my surprise, I finished the race without much trouble well under my target time of 2 hours. The initial positive experience got me hooked on running. A year later I completed my first full-length marathon.
Nowadays, running is a part of my everyday life. I use running largely as a way to maintain fitness, and I try not to take it too seriously. My long-term goal is run a marathon in every Nordic country.
